The Demon Lord's Bewitching Pet: Kiss of the Mark

Beneath the crabapple blossoms, she stood with her back to him.

“I never loved you. Let me go! The game is over!”

Like a raging lion, he pulled her into his arms and left an eternal mark on her chest.

“I'll make sure you remember me forever! I'll make you repay everything you owe me, with interest!”

When she saw him again, she was bewildered. Through the mist in her eyes, he slowly drew closer.

Looking down at her in his arms, he smiled wickedly.

“What, are you really that afraid of me?”

She stood toe to toe with him and accidentally ripped his clothes.

He smiled. “Are you so eager now to throw yourself into my arms?”

She tried to give him medicine, but he refused.

She started to cry, and he smiled. “I want you to feed it to me...”

His fingertip lightly touched her lips. “No, not with a spoon, but...”

She lay in his arms, light as a feather.

He wept.

She smiled weakly. “Don't cry. You are... the King...”

Who made an unchanging vow of love before the Three Lives Stone?

Who wandered through the darkness, searching for the warmth held in a memory?

Who left the kiss-shaped mark of the mandala flower that quietly bloomed on her chest?
