In the thirteenth year of Zhenguan, the population of the Tang Dynasty reached 5.48 Million households and the population reached 22.32 Million. Compared with the first year of Zhenguan, the population increased by nearly 8 million. The country is peaceful and the people are safe, and the people live and work in peace and contentment. In September of the same year, Li Chengqian paid a private visit incognito on the streets of Chang'an. Passing by Ximen Street, I met a scholar in white and Mr. Shen Ke and witnessed them making a bet. Li Chengqian's eyes widened: "Damn it, this is Journey to the West!"
