This book is part of the 2014 National Social Sciences and Arts Major Project "Research on the Contemporary Development Path of Opera Art", project number (14zd01). The author is both a director and a teacher. He has rich directing experience in stage art. His directing works have won many important awards. In addition, he teaches two important courses in opera directing and film and television directing at the China Academy of Opera. The ingenious integration of stage directing and podium teaching has become an important current research topic for the author. The teaching and research of directing art has naturally become the focus of this book.
