In recent years, the research on Song Dynasty literature has become increasingly broad-minded. Scholars try to approach it from multiple angles or relate it to different disciplines, striving to expand the field of research on Song Dynasty literature. First, the rise of stylistics research reminds scholars of the particularity of each stylistic style. Starting from the perspective of stylistics, there will be new solutions to many controversial academic issues. Secondly, it is the relationship between the imperial examination system and literary creation, which provides new ideas for the study of Song Dynasty literature. Again, focus on case studies. Through the in-depth study of key cases and the in-depth analysis of the political activities and literary creation of literati in the Song Dynasty, the study of Song Dynasty literature has been somewhat deepened in the context of the above-mentioned concerns.
