The papers included in the collection are generally divided into four parts, namely longitudinal papers, electric power papers, petroleum papers and coal papers. A total of sixteen papers discuss China's energy development and evolution in modern times from different angles. Due to the limitations of research foundation and focus, readers can see that these papers are only preliminary attempts from the perspective of energy history. We hope that the publication of these papers will attract more researchers' attention and participation, and truly bring the research on my country's energy history to a new and higher level.
