"Modern Evolution of Classical Poetry: A Collection of Research on Modern Poetry" is a collection of the author's essays on the research on modern and contemporary old-style poetry. The first series covers the basic aspects of cultural conservatism presented by the literary creations of Chaoshe Yishe, Chen Sanli, Shen Zengzhi, Zheng Xiaoxu, Chen Zengshou, Wang Guowei, etc., Together with Guangtai and related poets. The second series of Nanshe Characters involves two famous figures, Su Manshu and Li Shutong, revealing the distinctive modernity presented in them. The third volume of New Culture Movement Figures covers the old-style poems of Lu Xun and Chen Duxiu, elucidating the deeper modernity presented in them. The author therefore believes that the essence of the spiritual evolution of modern poetry is the deepening and adjustment of modernity in the Chinese poetic soul.
