This book compiles Huizhou merchants and the literary ecology of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, focusing on the exchanges between Huizhou merchants and literati, Huizhou merchants and literary dissemination, Huizhou merchant families and literary traditions, Huizhou merchants and Ming and Qing operas, and the creation of Huizhou merchants in Ming and Qing literature. The following part discusses the literary creation of Huizhou merchants in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After initially sorting out the phenomenon and characteristics of Huizhou merchants' literary creation in the Ming and Qing dynasties, Fang Chengxun and Fang Yulu were selected as cases to discuss respectively. This not only shows their specific creative features, but also the relationship between Huizhou merchants and the literary ecology of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
