"Selected Poems of Zhou Zan" is one of the volumes of "Ivy Poetry Series·Peking University Volume", which is divided into three series. The creation time of each series overlaps with each other, but the context is clear. The 70-year historical process of contemporary Chinese poetry should be divided into three stages: the "socialist period" (1949-1976), the "socialist adjustment period" (1977-1991) and the "post-socialist period" (1992-2019), based on the value construction and historical characteristics. They have historical connections passed down from one generation to the next, and also show the uniqueness of literature itself. The traditional history of poetry criticism usually adopts the "historical theory" historical view and analysis model. This model is certainly historical and persuasive, but it can also easily suppress the uniqueness of the history of novel criticism, and it is especially easy to ignore the subjectivity of criticism and the extremely vivid and rich details. This book highlights the history of contemporary poetry criticism from "big history" and places all the weight of theoretical thinking and narrative on it. Through the narration and analysis of different poetic practices in each period, the development process and characteristics of contemporary China in the past 70 years are deeply discussed.
