中国古典小说在日本江户时期的流播
Zhou Jianqiang
During the Edo period, China and Japan maintained close exchanges of classics and culture. In modern academic history, scholars' research on vernacular novels such as "Sanyan Erpai" often begins with the rediscovery of Chinese novel literature that has flowed into Japan. This book examines the circulation of Chinese classical novels in Japan during the Edo period from four perspectives: introduction and acquisition, reading and training, translation and commentary, reprinting and selection. It focuses on the Sino-Japanese book trade and the comparison of book prices between China and Japan, as well as all aspects of the history of book circulation such as Karamotoya, Yorimotoya, vernacular dictionaries to assist reading, the training and translation of vernacular novels, and the evolution of readership groups.

World of Life and Death
General Fiction生死界
Zhou Jianqiang
Several novellas in "The World of Life and Death" respectively depict the complicated life scenes in contemporary cities, villages, government agencies, and grassroots officialdom, and create several flesh-and-blood and distinctive characters. From the artistic realm vividly created by the writer, from the writer's objective description of human survival, officialdom strife, material desires and other phenomena in today's society, readers can understand the reality of social life through the concreteness of art - such as the harm of environmental pollution to human beings, such as the warning against the "hidden rules" of officialdom, etc.
