This book is a collection of the author's lectures on the Book of Songs at Sun Yat-sen University for ten years. The title "Lecture Notes on the Book of Songs" is modeled after the work of the same name that Mr. Fu Sinian used to teach the Book of Songs at Sun Yat-sen University. However, it is not for clinging to others. Firstly, it is to continue the "Book of Songs" class at Sun Yat-sen University, and secondly, it shows the difference in intention of the two drafts: one is from a modern standpoint, and the other is from a classical standpoint. The manuscript is divided into two parts. The first part discusses several basic issues in the study of "The Book of Songs", and the second part selects the key points of the "Book of Songs" for lectures. The purpose of the book is from the perspective of classical studies, focusing on elucidating the educational significance of the Book of Songs in classical Chinese society.
