The ten-volume "Picture Biography of Chinese Educators in the 20th Century" was funded by the National Publishing Fund in 2012 and was published by Sichuan Education Press. It received a very good response from the society. At the same time, there are also shortcomings: originally, taking into account round numbers, ten educators were selected. However, according to historical facts, there were objectively more than ten educators at the same level at that time. During the compilation process of the ten volumes, through mutual discussions among the authors of each volume, we realized that there are indeed several educators who should be included in the category of Chinese educators in the 20th century. In order to make up for this shortcoming, as the editor-in-chief of the series, I also solicited the opinions of professionals in the history of education in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places. After careful consideration, four people, Ye Qisun, Chen Yinke, Liang Shuming and Jiang Menglin, were selected as the biographers of the sequel. They also received support from Sichuan Education Press.
