This book is divided into two volumes, the upper and lower volumes, which respectively select poems, lyrics, tunes, essays, and poems from the pre-Qin to the Qing Dynasties. There are 67 chapters in total, which are suitable for students of Xiang Middle School to read. Ancient Chinese poetry and prose are rich in imagery and music. Memorizing these handed down works can enhance students' ability to learn ancient poetry and prose, and improve their ability to appreciate cultural and artistic works.
