"Boating on the Star Lake" is a selection of Zhen Zhimei's works during her middle school years, most of which are prose and argumentative. The works included in this collection mainly focus on society and life. Classmate Zhen Zhimei included what she saw, felt, realized, and thought into the collection, recording her mental journey during her growth period. She likes to observe, is diligent in thinking, good at summarizing, and willing to apply. They all have their own opinions and comments on matters ranging from national strategies to broken household locks, and even ordinary little ants can observe them carefully. She uses her works to describe living people and events, which are close to life and easy to understand.
