A total of forty-seven poems by fourteen writers are selected in the book, with one poet occupying a special place. Each article is roughly arranged in the order of appearance of the selected poems, and includes four independent modules, namely "Getting Close to the Poets", "Comprehension of Works", "Wonderful Appreciation", and "Key Points". "Getting close to the poet" is a brief description of the poet and his literary activities with poetry as the main body; "comprehension of the works" is an appropriate explanation of the nature of the reading guide; "wonderful appreciation" is the appreciation of the wonderful parts of the selected poems; "the finishing touch" is the quotation of the discussion of the poet and his works by the predecessors. In addition, there are two appendices, one is a reference and the other is a sequence index of the forty-seven poems; there are more than ten illustrations, drawn by Zhang Kai of China IPPC International Engineering Company.
