Popper is one of the most famous and influential philosophers of science in the 20th century, and an important representative of modern Western historical philosophy. The fusion of the amphibious identities of a philosopher of science and a philosopher of history gives Popper's historical philosophy a very different characteristic from the thoughts of other historical philosophers. This is its more distinctive empirical explanation derived from the development of natural science and its philosophical interpretation based on reflection on natural science. This characteristic of Popper's philosophy of history and the purpose of enriching and perfecting Popper's historical philosophy and consolidating the historical determinism of historical materialism through the study of Popper's historical philosophy set the logical direction of our critical research. This is his historical indeterminism. Here, we first give a brief explanation of Popper's life, philosophical thoughts and the contemporary value of criticizing Popper's historical indeterminism.
