This is a personal documentary novel. The novel is set in Foshan, and the entire story is written around Ah Jin's unusual eighty years, and is also mixed with many old Foshan anecdotes. In the past eighty years, the protagonist has experienced tremendous changes from Japan's invasion of China to the founding of New China.
