The city is a whole composed of various spaces and architectural fragments. Writers' writing about the city is mixed with individual spatial imagination and cultural memory. This book focuses on architectural writing, combines the dynamic mechanism of spatial narrative and the power relationship of spatial configuration to conduct a comprehensive investigation of urban narrative since the 1980s, explores the interactive relationship between architecture and urban landscape, space, symbols, and identity at the literary level, thereby outlining a set of "literary city" maps that are different from the past.

The content of "Tuo'an Poetry Talk" involves literary theory, poetic theory, the overall view of Chinese poetry, as well as essential comments on famous poetry writers of the past dynasties such as Zi Shi, Sao Yi Jiang and Yu Wang Guowei, with particular emphasis on Tang poetry and Song poetry. However, although "Tuo'an Poetry Talk" is extremely wonderful, it is not easy for readers who lack an in-depth understanding of classical literature and Gu Sui's academic ideological system to understand his academic thoughts through its concise words. This book "explains and comments" on "Tuo'an Poetry" one by one: first, it explains Gu Sui's remarks in "Tuo'an Poetry"; secondly, on the basis of the explanation, it evaluates Gu Sui's remarks and even extends them.
