Reading Fu Xianqin
Literature读赋献芹
Zhao Kuifu
"Reading Fu Xianqin" is a collection of academic papers by Mr. Zhao Kuifu on the study of Fu, including "On the Characteristics of Fu and Its Relationship with Chinese and Chinese Culture", "Tracing the Origin of Fu Style and Discussion of Pre-Qin Fu", "The Rise and Fall of the Han Dynasty and the Development and Transformation of Han Fu", "The Limitations and Expansions of Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties", "The Gains and Loss of Fu Creation in the Southern and Northern Dynasties", and "The Maturity and Glorious Era of Fu". The content can be roughly divided into three categories: first, discussing the formation and characteristics of Fu; second, sorting out the evolution of Fu before the Tang Dynasty; and third, case studies of representative Fu masters and Fu writers. When discussing Fu, the author has a broad vision. He examines "style" and pays attention to "text". In addition to handed down documents, he also includes unearthed documents, oral documents, historical relics and even folk cultural relics. He conducts comprehensive inspection and judgment, examines language, restores text, combines research and theory, and comes up with new insights.
