Toni Morrison Novels Research
Literature托尼·莫里森小说研究
Zhao Hongwei
This book explores the novel creation of Toni Morrison, an African-American female writer and Nobel Prize winner in Literature, from the perspective of "other space", interprets the social spaces such as "home", "community" and "heterogeneous space" throughout Morrison's novels, and explores their significance in the construction of the character identity in Morrison's novels. It believes that Morrison uses the means of spatial narrative from the perspective of the edge and the other to express a strong racial and gender consciousness, reproduce the history of the other, and attempt to reshape the subjectivity of the other.
