More than 100 years have passed in the history of human aviation. However, the difficulties and risks we encounter in scientific research and test flights today are no less than those encountered more than 100 years ago. Test pilots are like trainers who tame a fierce horse. They are usually faced with a brand-new fighter aircraft whose habits are unknown. Their job is to explore the quality and performance of the fighter aircraft during actual driving, keenly perceive its maneuverability and driving feel, become familiar with its weapon systems and control links, and then help designers and engineers complete the improvement, debugging and finalization of the fighter aircraft. In the memory of the Chinese people, the first official public appearance of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force was at the military parade ceremony of the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China. On October 1, 1949, Beijing held a world-famous founding ceremony. Mao Zedong and other party and state leaders all appeared on the Tiananmen Gate. Nearly 300,000 people of all ethnic groups gathered in Tiananmen Square. Through the five-star red flag flying high above their heads, they witnessed the massive founding parade. The climax of the military parade was: when the ground artillery unit and the car and tank unit passed the rostrum, a phalanx of aircraft appeared in the sky at the same time. A total of 26 aircraft of various types of the People's Air Force flew over Tiananmen Square. People who know a little about the history of the Air Force will know that the People's Air Force was officially established on November 11, 1949, which means it was officially established one month after the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China.
