This book is the sequel to the book "A Thousand Letters Containing the Teacher's Way". Professor Ye Chunhua, a famous teacher at Fudan School of Journalism, has been teaching for more than 40 years. His podium is not limited to classrooms and halls, but also extends to all directions through letters. He has corresponded with students in thousands of letters over decades, imparting knowledge, discussing studies, and exchanging ideas through letters. "A Thousand Letters Containing the Teaching of a Teacher" was compiled into a volume with a selection of nearly a hundred letters. After the book was published, it won wide acclaim. Teaching and educating people is the bounden duty of teachers. The so-called teaching and educating people, I think, the core is "educating people", in the final analysis it is "educating people". Teachers are not "red candles" who illuminate others and destroy themselves. Instead, they illuminate others and are illuminated by others and perfect themselves.
