In the 1960s and 1970s, Yunlong has been a famous sericulture research base in Zhejiang due to its high yield of silkworm cocoons. It has also become a sericulture production base for Zhejiang Agricultural University, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Special Products Bureau. It was awarded by the State Council and became a model of sericulture agriculture. Yunlong has a long history of sericulture. Every family grows mulberry and every household raises sericulture. Sericulture is the main agricultural work and industry in Yunlong Village. In particular, as the provincial sericulture production experimental base for more than ten years, it has been deeply influenced by scientific sericulture, and it still maintains this tradition. In recent years, farmers have also spontaneously built a sericulture cultural park to preserve the memory of sericulture. This book aims to collect lost historical materials, excavate Yunlong sericulture culture, record its development process, and play a certain role in inheriting intangible cultural heritage.
