This book is the result of a field survey project jointly carried out by the Minzu University of China and the Ganzi Prefecture Culture and Tourism Bureau of Sichuan Province. The content is about the different patterns carved on rocks during the Neolithic period in the Garze area. It is a catalog and basic introduction to the Garze rock paintings at the origin of human civilization (time of discovery, location, investigation records, etc.). Through this project, it can be confirmed that humans existed in the Garze Prefecture as early as the Neolithic period, and these rock paintings vividly record the production, life, natural creatures, mountains and rivers of the ancestors in this area, record the praise and praise of labor production, and are precious image materials before the emergence of writing. The book has been officially reviewed and recommended by the Chinese Rock Painting Research Center of the Minzu University of China and the Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
