In order to welcome the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, researcher Duan Qinglin, deputy president of the Ningxia Academy of Social Sciences, planned and organized the compilation of the "Ningxia Enterprise History Series". In 2016, with project funding from the Ningxia Academy of Social Sciences, the author undertook the compilation of the book "History of Enterprises in Ningxia Cities and Counties". During the writing process of this book, the Political Research Office of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Autonomous Region, the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region, the Industry and Information Technology Department of the Autonomous Region, the Statistics Bureau of the Autonomous Region, the Statistics Bureau of the Five Municipalities and the Local Chronicles Office provided a large amount of historical data. Shi Rong, an associate professor and Ph. D. At the School of Economics and Management of Ningxia University, Zhang Huaizhi, a fourth-level researcher at the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region, and others did a lot of data compilation and related writing work.
