This book is divided into three series, namely Old Stories in the Countryside, Home in Yining, and My Yili. "There is a City in the Distance" takes the characters and customs of Ili, an important border town in Xinjiang, as the main writing theme. Through prose, it presents readers with another cultural interpretation of the local customs and customs. Everything written in the book is based on the author's personal experience. The multi-ethnic blending and unique regional customs expressed between the lines are not only a collective gratitude to this land, but also a deep respect. This book is divided into two parts. In the first volume, "Outside the City", the author gives Yili another way of presenting the scenery and folk customs through detailed observation of life on site and enlightenment while walking. In the second volume, "City", the words flowing from the author's writing are not only a small town full of exotic customs, but also a city of fine and gentle happiness. In the author's writing, this city has as much happiness as autumn, and every corner can make people feel the happiness expressed by the common saying "peace is at home". This kind of happiness is the most easily overlooked, and it is also the most precious wealth in the world.
