Combining the regional cultural characteristics of Fujian, this book takes an overall look at Chen Shi, a Fujian survivor writer in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and his circle of survivor friends, explores the survivor identity consciousness contained in Chen Shi's writings, and discusses the mental characteristics and spiritual situation of the Fujian survivor literary people in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The book is divided into eight chapters, which respectively research and discuss Chen Shi's family background, academic career, ups and downs in officialdom, versions of his writings, friendships, and the ideological connotation and artistic achievements of his writings. The focus is on Chen Shi's role in the Change of Dynasty from the perspective of memory and identity. In addition, from the perspective of the integration and transmission of resorts, holy places and Daoshan cultural spirit, the contribution of the survivors' literati represented by Chen Shi in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties to the inheritance and dissemination of traditional national culture and Fujian regional literature was analyzed.

This book uses the synchronic diversified mentality characteristics and the diachronic mentality evolution of the Fujian survivors and literati in the early Qing Dynasty as clues to construct a dual network structure of the survivor groups. Focusing on the writings of the survivors and scholars, focusing on the cultural qualities of the survivors such as loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, righteousness, patriotism and bravery, we conduct research and thinking in different dimensions on the integrity of the survivors and feelings of family and country under the historical memory and identity awareness of this group, and explore the spread significance of the discrete writings of the survivors during the Yi Dynasty. This book will help further expand the research perspective on survivor literature, promote the modernization of the cultural thoughts and literary production value of survivors, and promote the cultural exchange, integration and development of Fujian and Taiwan.
