This book is a collection of essays recently compiled by Mr. Zhang Xianglong. The book is divided into five parts: "Looking forward to the return of Confucianism", "Elucidation of the Thoughts of Teacher He Lin and Reminiscences of His Teachings", "Tasting People and Thoughts", "The Great Beauty of China" and "Philosophy and Confucianism from a Comparative Perspective between China and the West". This book relatively comprehensively records some of the author's life experiences and ideological pursuits in the past half century. It is his reflections after the turbulent times in the great era together with his teachers and friends, to explore the truth of life - benevolence. By reading this collection of essays, readers can understand some of the common experiences of Mr. Zhang Xianglong's generation and their exploration of benevolence. Perhaps these records and reflections will also inspire and influence the next generation's "exploration of humanity."
