This book mainly interprets and comments on the female characters in "Historical Records". The main part is divided into eight special topics, respectively introducing Sima Qian's politically powerful women, common people's mothers who understand righteousness, legendary women who have the courage to pursue, brave and strong chivalrous heroines, wise women with far-sightedness, tragic women in the court, upper-class ladies with twisted souls, and worldly and vulgar women in the market. In addition, it also introduces Sima Qian's views on women and the influence of female characters in "Historical Records" on later generations of culture.
