The book "Ping-Han Railway and the Economic Development of North China (1905-1937)" is divided into six chapters, which mainly discusses the operation of the Ping-Han Railway from 1905 to 1937 and its role in promoting the development of commerce, agriculture, industry and mining in North China. This book was published by the Institute of Modern History of the Academia Sinica in Taipei in 1987 and was included in the institute's special issue No. 55. In this publication, the author has added the article "Crossing the Boundaries-The Current Situation and Prospects of Research on China's Railway History".
