This book starts from archeology and combines the research results of history, linguistics, anthropology and other disciplines to deeply explore the core question raised by Jared Diamond in "Guns, Germs and Steel" - why the civilizations of the Eurasian continent occupy a dominant position in global history. The author re-examines the history of human social development over approximately 10,000 years, focusing on six major elements: agriculture, writing, maps, metallurgy, cavalry, and human migration, and reveals the underlying logic behind the development of civilizations in Eurasia that is stronger than that in other regions. As history evolves, human beings are constantly reflecting, shifting from bloody conquest to peaceful coexistence.
