Along with the transformation of Chinese society, politics, and literature, narrative literary works that reproduce and express historical traumatic memories constitute the traumatic narrative landscape in literature in the new era. Based on trauma theory, this book selects trauma narrative works in the new era from 1976 to 1989 as the research object. It studies the expression of trauma themes, psychological descriptions of trauma, and trauma narrative forms from the perspective of trauma narrative, examines the construction process of literary trauma narratives in the new era, grasps the types and characteristics, continuations, and variations of literary trauma narratives in the new era, and deepens the understanding of literary trends and works in the new era.
