This book explores the essential characteristics, principles and laws of weapons and equipment systems, analyzes the basic scientific problems that must be solved by weapon and equipment systems, discusses the origins of complexity and the manifestations of uncertainty in weapon and equipment systems, and conducts in-depth research on the emergence and formation mechanisms of weapon and equipment systems. On this basis, according to the characteristics and requirements of the weapon and equipment system engineering implementation process, a weapon and equipment system engineering V++ model, a mission-oriented capability-based weapon and equipment system requirements analysis framework and a weapon and equipment system integrated design method were constructed. Two weapons and equipment system contribution rate analysis methods, a weapon and equipment system integration mechanism and an integration effect evaluation method were formed. In addition, the new development trends of the weapon and equipment system are analyzed and elaborated from the aspects of the development of big data, artificial intelligence and their application in the weapon and equipment system.
