The book is divided into four parts, including explanations of ancient porcelain identification terms, observations on ancient porcelain appreciation, five physical explanations, and some characteristic pictures of ancient porcelain. Among them, the first part lists a total of 226 characteristics of ancient porcelain, and annotates the ancient porcelain identification terms one by one, so that readers can not only appreciate the overall style of Chinese ancient porcelain art, but also understand the porcelain making technology and artistic characteristics of each historical period, and master the knowledge of defects, counterfeiting, imitation and identification of porcelain in each period.
