This book is a collection of prose essays, showing the beautiful moments in the author's ordinary life. The book is divided into three volumes. The first volume, "Deepness of the Years," is mostly about the author's memories of his early rural life and the portrayal of the approachable, upright and kind-hearted fellow villagers. It is real and vivid; the second volume, "Wishes and Words", is mainly about the author's thoughts and perceptions in life and work, with patterns and attitudes; the third volume, "The Colorful World" extends his sight to the natural world, describing the natural beauty of his hometown of Feidong and other places in the motherland, and the blend of scenes. The text in the book is plain and concise, warm and vivid, rich in content, novel in perspective, and positive in theme.
