This is a microcosm of the growth history of technical secondary school graduates born around the 1980s. It describes the changes and impact of changes in national policies on the lives of ordinary families and the lives of ordinary people under the reform background of that era. Su Zhengqing's struggle experience is the epitome of a generation affected by that era. After decades of studying hard, he was once full of dreams and ambitions. However, when he had just turned 18 and was about to express his ambitions, he experienced a major setback in his life. He had been frustrated and despaired, but in the face of the cruel reality of policy changes, he had to face reality, start from scratch, and use nearly ten years of hard work to try and prove his value in this society and find his own path in life. Although the pain and sorrow left a deep mark on his body, and the changes of the times could not give him any answer, he used his own efforts and struggles to write a growth epic belonging to this generation of young people.
