As a strange book, "Jin Ping Mei Ci Hua", compared with other classical novels, its most significant narrative feature is that it uses women as the main body of the story. Because of this, the analysis and discussion of the female characters in the text has gone beyond the meaning of literary criticism, and is more about looking at the mental journeys of these so-called "second genders" through the various women created by Xiaoxiaosheng, in order to understand the "purgatory" that women have experienced physically and mentally in the large Eastern civilizations where they live. I hope that I can get the pleasure of enlightenment as I read each character.
