A journey of love and hate

Su Wan is the owner of an old bookstore that is on the verge of closing down. She has a gentle personality but a tenacity that refuses to admit defeat. Guarding the bookstore is like guarding a memory that is unwilling to let go. Gu Yanshen is a leading investment elite in the business world. He is cold and decisive. He is used to measuring everything with data and interests, but by chance he breaks into this bookstore that is incompatible with the bustling surroundings. One is an idealist who sticks to the warmth of the old days, and the other is a realist who pursues success in a fast-paced world. Their worlds had no intersection, but they were forced to become entangled due to a sudden urban reconstruction plan. Gu Yanshen's company is the leader of this renovation project, and Su Wan's bookstore happens to be the "obstacle" that needs to be demolished in the plan. Starting from the tit-for-tat game, they gradually saw the softness under each other's hard shells in collisions. Su Wan's efforts to protect the bookstore caused ripples in Gu Yanshen's cold world; and Gu Yanshen's occasional clumsy concern quietly melted Su Wan's defensiveness. When business interests and emotional belongings collide fiercely, and when past pains and real obstacles come one after another, can they find a place to rest for this unexpected relationship in the flow of time? Just like the sunflower always chasing the light, can their love cross the secular divide and finally usher in the warmth and brightness that belongs to each other?
