This book is a collection of short public case novels in vernacular from the Ming Dynasty. A copy of the publication of Santaiguan in Wanli period is preserved. The categories are "human life category", "adultery category", "thief category", "fraud category", "competition category", and "revenge category", with numbers ranging from 9, 10, and 11 in each category. This volume is titled "Continued Lianming Gongan" and "Biography of the Lianming Gongan of Zhusi", which shows its relationship with "Lianming Gongan of Huangming Zhusi", that is, "Biography of Lianming Qijuan Gongan". However, this book is different from "Lianming Gongan". "Lianming Gongan" is "Yu Xiangdou's Collection" and focuses on collecting cases; this book is "Yu Xiangdou's Compilation" and was edited and processed by Yu Xiangdou. The recorded stories are interesting and vivid, such as Zeng Daxun's verdict on Xue Er's injustice, Liu Xingbu's conviction of murdering his stepmother, and Zhu Zhifu's death by fire, etc. Readers who like ancient public case novels must not miss this book and it is worth collecting and reading.
