"People Are Colorful Clouds Between Heaven and Earth" is a collection of memories written by Mr. Yu Changmin, a witness to the reform and opening up of Shekou Industrial Zone, based on his own experience. The author describes the people and events in his life, from the vibrant campus life and the innocence and simplicity when studying at Tsinghua University, to the confusion and hardship in the dilemma of life, and then to the front line of reform and opening up, planning and participating in investment promotion, cultural construction and various reforms in industrial zones, witnessing the difficult and fruitful exploration. By recording the bumpy lives of various characters, the author reminisced about social life, wrote about the struggles, joys and sorrows, and sincere friendship of a generation, portrayed all living beings in the era, and reflected the progress of the great era. It not only preserved the traces of the years, but also became a spiritual history containing rich philosophy of life.
