In 2030, the earth fell into an apocalyptic collapse due to the "explosive virus". Over the ruins of the city, a blue spacecraft from an alien planet, the TARDIS, accidentally crashed into China. The Doctor, an outsider with two hearts and mastery of space-time technology, lost the chance of rebirth in the crash, only to discover that the virus was not a biological disaster, but an experiment of "consciousness takeover". The infected are no longer just zombies, they are "evolving" and building an invisible neural network. And a Chinese young man, Xie Tian, became the "connector" of the virus network. A human who can hear the heartbeat of zombies, and an alien who can no longer die, they walk together in the wasteland. The TARDIS is offline and the planet is out of control. They must find the "origin" that controls everything among the collapsed cities, lost satellites and sleeping consciousness. This is not a journey to save the earth, but a countdown to civilization's self-restart.
