The theoretical study of fate in Chinese poetics includes three parts: category research, theoretical research and applied research. The basic category of the theory of predestined affairs is "things", and the basic concept is "predestined affairs". From the perspective of events, poetry is derived from the sense of events, shaped by events, and formed from events. The study of Yuanshi theory mainly explores a series of poetic issues such as the occurrence, creation, evolution, aesthetics and criticism of poetry and things, and then forms the systematic structure of Yuanshi occurrence theory, Yuanshi development theory, Yuanshi creation theory, Yuanshi poetry style theory, Yuanshi poetry method theory and Yuanshi poetry criticism. Applied research mainly applies the theory of predestined events to current poetry creation and criticism, poetic construction and comparison, poetic culture and poetic history reconstruction through case analysis, so that Chinese poetry and poetics can adapt to ancient and modern times, and integrate Chinese and foreign development.
