Mr. Wang Ka is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of World Religions of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has devoted his life to the overall study of Taoist classics, ideological history, and modern development. With a research approach that combines broad knowledge of classics and meanings with studies in literature and history, he has become an internationally influential Taoist academic authority. Mr. Wang Ka passed away due to illness in Linzhi, Tibet in July 2017.
