A famous poet, painter, musician and politician in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Wang Wei (Yun Qi) experienced the Anshi Rebellion and accepted the pseudo-post of An Lushan, but did not die for his country. Even if you take dumb pills and laxatives to escape, you still can't avoid the suspicion of losing your temper. Wang and Tao (Ku Yuan) are both artists who live in seclusion in the landscape and countryside. They are close friends, but their personalities are similar but have differences.
