"Flowers on the Sea: Daily Life of Women in Shanghai Worker New Village" is the research result of the "Urbanization, Gender and Southern Hemisphere - Transforming Knowledge Network Research Project Shanghai Team (Gen Urb)". It includes oral history interviews with six women and three grassroots mother-daughter pairs in Shanghai Worker New Village, as well as a four-week online and offline diary workshop. Through participatory field observation, it explores gender issues from the perspective of urban development and family communities under socialist construction.
