Ye Wenling, whose ancestral home is Yuhuan, Zhejiang, was born in Chumen Town. He once served as Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Writers Association and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles; member of the fifth, sixth and seventh presidium of the Chinese Writers Association; member of the sixth, seventh and eighth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; member of the ninth National People's Congress presidium. He is currently the honorary chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Writers Association, a member of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the Cultural and Historical Materials Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a part-time professor at Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University of Communication. His representative works include: short stories "Heart Fragrance", "Cane Chair", "Screen", "Feng Shui Here"; novellas "Green Lantern", "Nine Bends of the Stream", "Romantic Dusk", "Night Talk on Turbulent Stream", etc.; Novels "Dreamless Valley", "Parents Official", "The Proud Son of the Sun", "Qiu Jin", "Dunhuang Guardian Saint - Chang Shuhong", "Three Lives of Love", etc. There are more than 40 kinds of works in the collection. Published eight volumes of "Collected Works of Ye Wenling". His novels and prose works have won dozens of awards at home and abroad. "Heart Fragrance" won the National Outstanding Short Story Award, and "Dreamless Valley" won the "Outstanding Achievement Award for Chinese Literary Creation" awarded by the New York Cultural Art Center. There is no doubt that he fell from the window of "Lingxiao Pavilion".
