The theme of this novel is the relationship collision between loneliness, desire and rules. They are given by the protagonist's self, heart and environment respectively, and desire is the link between the protagonist and society. To put it simply, this is a story about a young man wrapped in loneliness who is led by desire into the limitations of rules. Within the limitations formed by rules, he sees extremely magical and absurd phenomena... The novel adopts the narrative technique of double-line and single-line narrative, combining virtual and real backgrounds, and the artistic method of stream of consciousness and multi-person narration. The whole movie is a combination of black humor and magical realism.
