"British Literature in the Seventeenth Century" is Mr. Yang Zhouhan's masterpiece that uses comparative methods to study British literature in the seventeenth century from a broad perspective and a new perspective. He used 17th-century British literature as a breakthrough point, put 17th-century literature into a historical context, and used some writers who had far-reaching influence but little attention as a starting point to reveal the fashion and ideological trends of 17th-century British literature, and unearthed the unique significance of 17th-century British literature in the history of thought and literature. It rewrites the history of seventeenth-century British literature from a completely new perspective.
