The early Qing Dynasty in this book refers to the first year of Shunzhi (1644) to the 22nd year of Kangxi (1683). During this period, novel creation flourished and was unique. Nearly 200 novels were published, which is the total number of existing Ming Dynasty novels. The forms of novels were also diverse, with both vernacular and classical Chinese novels flourishing. This book summarizes the creative overview and cultural ecology of novels in the early Qing Dynasty, and takes the sentiment of the motherland in the creation of novels in the early Qing Dynasty as the starting point.
