The ten papers included in this book are the staged presentation of the author's exploratory research on the "rich people" class in ancient China in the past ten years. These papers mainly cover the size, character, and behavioral patterns of the rich people class in the Tang and Song Dynasties, the reshaping of social and economic relations in the Tang and Song Dynasties by rich people, the role of rich people in the transformation of the national functional system, and the characteristics of the first-level "rich people society" theory as a research paradigm.
