The Ming Dynasty philosopher Wang Ji (known as Longxi) advocated "nature", "true madness", "desirelessness" and "self-enlightenment" and founded the "Longxi Mind Theory". During the Jiajing and Wanli years, Longxi Psychology was widely spread in China and spread to Japan and other countries. This led the author of "Journey to the West" to accept Wang Ji's philosophical thoughts, and based on the previous "Journey to the West" stories, he used Longxi Psychology as the philosophical starting point to recreate the theme and characters. Thus, "Journey to the West" was born. This book starts from the perspective of communication studies and uses the relationship between philosophy and literature as the starting point to launch the study of the communication of Longxi's philosophy and "Journey to the West". On the basis of clarifying the academic personality of Long Xi's psychology, the author analyzes the philosophical implications of the main theme and characters of "Journey to the West", revealing that "Journey to the West" exalts the subject's personality, advocates true freedom, pursues madness and willfulness, and denies worldly aspirations. It also advocates that the subject should practice mindfulness through introspection, achieve sudden enlightenment, achieve natural desirelessness, and restore the original goodness.
